Nicole Walker went to LA to work for Austin's company. She is "still" a part of the show via phone calls to Austin. I believe she is working on the High Style project that they stole from Carrie.
If you are talking about Nicole's actress, she left the show after her husband (the guy who played brady) left the show. It wasn't right away but maybe like 6 months after.

Remember Brady who she was in love with, well DAYS let him go and then I think when it was time for her to renew she decided she didn't like the way they were taking her character so she didn't renew (she's married in real life to the X brady).
