Give liberals a break they only have two stations on the radio (NPR and AirAmerica Radio) ... and both are laughing stocks in the radio community. We have to keep them around just to show future generations what kind of utter silliness and obstructionism we had to put up with from libs, before the democratic party disintegrated.

Free speech is just that: free speech. I say keep NPR on the air, for the views that are currently being expressed - which some take issue with - are still protected as free speech.
...besides, who's to say that in another ten years or so they might be the last bastion of Right-wing thought?

We should cut their funding because the government should not fund ANY radio (or television) station. I would say to cut their funding even if they carried Rush Limbaugh 24 hours a day.

No.
We should eliminate it's federal funding because the federal government has no business supporting a radio network.

NO!!! I love listening to them, then Rush,Hannity or O'reillyand trying to glean the FACTS and make my own informed decision based on the 2 sides. Are you afraid to hear a view that differs from your own? Try it, independant thinking is what made the USA great.

Yes. The government shouldn't fund one side's opinion, or anyone's opinion.
Let NRP compete in the marketplace. Then they'll know how valuable they are.

No...Because we have to have at least a few news organizations in this country that still report the fact, and not lies like Fox (faux) news.
