I think that people who wear leather shoes or belts cannot be against other types of furs, etc. It's ok to boycot things where the animal is endangered or mistreated. What I really hate are people who say it's ok to kill a cow but not a fox, because a fox is "cuter". How dare we determine one's worth to live based on it's looks?

Furs are so beautiful. I would never get them because I don't really have anyplace to wear them. I don't live anyplace uper fashionable like Venice.

I have bought leather jackets, and sheep skin jackets to keep warm with. These seem to be mid way between ritzy and red-neck which is where I'm trapped fashion wise. I'm also addicted to real leather shoes. They are so comfortable ... My "Ex" used to go fanatic about making sure he had real leather on the bottom of his shoe's because it was a 'gentleman' thing to do.

I think that when an animal is killed the animal should be used in as many ways as possible. The food should be consumed, the skin used for shoes, and fur's for warmth. I think today's industry does try to make as much use out of the animals sacrifice as possible.

Hey, natural is better than plastic any day!

I wear leather, but not furs- and that's not cause I'm against furs... I just don't like the look of them. If I WAS against them, that'd be a bit hypocritical. A lot of my friends are vegetarians, and I think that's cool, but I don't believe strongly enough in it to dedicate myself to a vegetarian lifestyle. I do think, however, that there is such a thing as too much. If your wardrobe is composed of a whole herd (is that the right word?) of cattle... that's just a LITTLE over the top.

IMO I don't like it at all...I hate seeing fur coats it reminds me off how animals get treated and it disgusts me completely. To even begin to start how animals get treated........it's horrible that's an understatement. Why fur ...wear something else. It's just not cool to me at all I've researched it before the living conditions they have the animals suffer it's...not rite. I don't want to get into detail but to sum it all up I don't like the fur coat deal. FUR BELONGS ON ANIMALS!!

Only fakes! But take this into consideration; leather jackets are often times worn by the same individuals that believe furs and skins are cruel?! That only tells you one thing; "decide for yourself".

I think that if you must kill animals it should be only for food purposes, not to kill drain of blood stitch up and drape over your body. Personally go find a hobo at the morgue and drape him over your body you cant look any worse or better than with furs

EWWWW!!!
How would you like it if an animal killed someone you love and wore it as a coat, or used it as a purse????
I HATE FUR AND LEATHER. I am a very very strong supporter of faux fur and leather. I would never ever wear real fur or leather.
It's cruel, and gross!
