And also, what is the 0-60 times on a '06 gsxr 1000, 750, and 600?
And what is the 0-60 time on a 2006 yamaha r1?
Any links to sites that tell you the 0-60 times?

Don't be too concerned with sportbike 0-60 times. MOST of the 0-60 speed depends entirely on the launch and rider skill. Unlike most cars where you just mash the gas and it runs fairly consistant numbers, a bike needs more precision clutch/gas/weight loading to launch quickly. 60 mph comes so fast, just by messinng the launch a little bit you could lose a full second. I would tend to agree with the 4.2 number listed above. However they don't normally give that number much weight in testing. Ususally a 0-100 number and a roll on 40-60 or 60-80 number tells more about power delivery and gearing than 0-60.

yamaha r6? 3.55 sec - June 2006 Motorcyclist magazine pg 61
gsxr 1000 2.92 sec June 2006 Motorcyclist magazine pg 34
750 3.30 sec June 2006 Motorcyclist magazine pg 61
600 3.48 sec June 2006 Motorcyclist magazine pg 60
yamaha r1 2.71 sec June 2006 Motorcyclist magazine pg 34
Any links to sites that tell you the 0-60 times? None I recall, but the back two pages of any issue of Motorcyclist will give you 1/4 miles times, 60 to 80 times, horsepower, torque, prices and comments
