If you believe in a higher power that you don't believe in the possibility of understanding, you have no way of serving it directly. It would not keep you if you didn't serve a purpose. Only an intellectual being could consciously choose to have you.
If this power thrives on your merely existing, then it is dependent upon you and not in fact "higher" at all. It might have a purpose, as earthworms do, but wouldn't be a governing force by any means. I suggest looking further into the things you DO believe, before attempting to discredit the things you don't. For I find trying to disprove things you don't believe in can be an awful waste of time and energy.
Respectfully.

Try and limit yourself to one question at a time.
Is the Bible false?
Can't say, wasn't there, neither were you. We can argue all we want about the significance of relics and fossils but the fact they exist doesn't tell up why they exist. Certainty is at issue with religion and science so why go there?
BTW, capitalize Bible like you would Constitution.
Is evolution proof the Bible is false?
Evolution is a theory of which came first the chicken or the egg. Evolutionists can't decide. Why? Because there comes a point when you run out of fossils and have to rely on supposition. Suppose the Bible is right and all we are arguing about is how carbon dating can be wrong. Maybe the question is can carbon dating be wrong. Yes. Nobody said it was perfect. So if it could be wrong what says it isn't. And just because you don't find dinosaurs in the Bible doesn't mean they weren't around. I don't find most animals in te Bible. That doesn't mean they didn't exist. it just means they had nothing to do with what you were supposed to be paying attention to, namely God.
Is God beyond our comprehension?
Your best question so far. The Bible doesn't say that you can comprehend God so you really have no argument there. Jesus said, "Where I am going you cannot follow." That pretty much sums up that up. But you want more. Don't we all. The thing about God which should be obvious to all is that we are not God if we were than we know everything and be satisfied, but we are not so we seek the knowledge that God possesses. I call this religious gravity. We are drawn to the one in whose likeness we reside. Now there is a good thought for you to ponder for a while. How vaste is that likeness? Chew on that one for a while and see where it leads you. You may find a couple of extinct species along the way.
BTW, did any scientist ever find a soul in any of these diggings? I am just curious.

When you say that, "...according to it dinosaurs werent here?"
Think about this for just a minute.
1. Where does it say in the Bible that the dinosaurs were NOT here?
2. When did dinosaurs roam the planet earth? What years, according to anthropologists and cryptozoologists?
3. When did the Bible and/or Torah begin? Approximately what year?
4. Why are modern-day archeologists now proving that places in the Bible and situations that occurred in the Bible did really occur according to the evidence dug up at sites in the middle east and Egypt?
5. Why is the Great Flood (Noah in the Christian Religion) written about in more than seven different religions around the world? In Sumeria, the Noah story happens to be called, "The Story of Gilgamesh (Sp?).
6. There is also now physical evidence that the universe we live in was created in one-one trillionth of a second. Would this not support the way the Biblical World began?
I think you have brought up a wonderful point more over the ongoing Evolution VS Religion debate that Darwin began when his book on evolution first caused such a ruckus...
It is difficult to say that your prayers have been answered if you are not looking in the right place. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it? Or you will receive an answer but you need to look at the obvious...the butterfly that just appeared and you swatted away after you asked, "Where are you, God?"
I believe that we are not perfect, and we will not attain perfection while wandering this earth. It is our soul that will become perfect...made in the image of God.
Just some thoughts...
Anyone Else?

Long answer, but I hope you take the time to read it and I hope it helps:
Many Christian churches teach that the Bible is to be taken literally or that it is infallible (absolutely true). This is such a NARROW way to view the Bible that it causes many people to dismiss the Bible and Christianity as unreasonable, illogical, or non-sensical.
Although most Christians would argue with me, I choose to see the Bible as a collection of stories, parables, law, history, wisdom, poems, prayers, dreams, and letters.
Seen this way, the true/false/infallable issues become mute. A song is neither true, false, or infallable - its just a song. Same for a prayer, law, poem, or proverb.
The dreams (prophesy) in the Bible are highly symbolic -not litteral.
The stories and parables in the Bilbe are figurative - not litteral - and are intended to teach a lesson.
This history in the Bible is just what the Jews of Old Testament times wrote down - when they finally had a written language and something to write with - FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVE ! Clearly it is incomplete, as it doesn't include a detailed account of everything that ever happened - like dinosaurs. Clearly it is from their perspective - what they witnessed. To them the great flood of Noah's time covered everything they could see, but not necessarily the entire surface of the Earth.
Now, the difficulties in understanding the Bible become:
1. Telling the difference between history and stories. (Was the Tower of Bable a real event or is that a story with a lesson? Was the garden of eden a historical event or a story/fable about man distancing himself from God? Were Adam and Eve real, or was this just the creation story that the Jews handed down from generation to generation. (Interesting that every major culture has its own creation story that got handed down through the generations, so maybe that is what the Jews did)
2. Which, if any of the Old Testament laws still apply today?
Anyway, traditional Christians think in limited terms of "right and wrong" and "true and false". I think spirituality and man's relationship with God is a little more complex that this. The Bible is a guide. Read, meditate, and pray and "God" will put the "truth" in your heart. (Just as Jesus said he would send a "helper" - the Holy Ghost)
Ta Da!

Hello Friend...I.m a degreed Theologian and I want to inform you that you're entirely wrong about the Bible "saying" that dinosaurs didn't exist. The fact is, that during the great Flood in the days of Noah, the "dinosaurs" were destroyed because of the fact that increasing human population and dinosaurs could in no way "coexist". Here's my challenge for you...name the book, chapter and verse in the Bible that "says" dinosaurs NEVER existed. We (Christians) are well aware of their existance because even science and archeological digs prove they existed and that knowledge in no way contradicts the Word of God. As a matter of fact, archeological digs PROVE that the dinosaurs were brought to extinction from a world-wide flood. Did you realize that at the highest mountains where digs have been performed, they discover MARINE-LIFE that is found only in the Oceans? Scientist keep very quiet about this because to admit it, they would be forced to admit that nearly 5,000 years ago the entire Earth was covered with salt-water...that is, OCEANS! I have in my personal library actual photographs of "Noahs Ark" which is still upon mount Ararat (where the Bible said it "rested")...broken into two halves with the lower half 1500 feet below the upper half which is protruding out of a glacier of ice. The entire Ark is over 2500 feet above timber-line and was discovered first by satellite images. There have been a number of escavations at the site...but since it's on the Turkey/Soviet border, no one is given rights to escavate the site at the present time. The "dimensions" of the Ark that can be observed measures in minute detail to the record described in the Book of Genesis...in EXACT DETAIL. Moreover, dinosaur bones have been also found upon Mt. Ararat above the timber-line...and PROVEN. So, again, I ask you, WHERE in the Bible does it say that "dimosaurs" didn't exist? I'm not angry or upset and I hope that I'm not coming across that way. I'm merely presenting you with honest questions which I hope to hear honest answers in return. Most people who discredit the Bible have never taken the time to actually READ the Bible from cover to cover...and when they DO open its' pages, they only do so by thinking they are smarter than a Book that has been in existance for more than 5,000 years. What a joke such puny minds are in the light of the Truth!!!!

You are asserting that the Bible says that dinosaurs weren't here - it doesn't say that at all. There is no mention of dinosaurs in the Bible - but that is a far leap from saying that it denies their existance. There are many things and creatures not mentioned in the Bible. It would appear that your idea of a higher power is a rather vague notion, but who says that Christians can fully understand God? There is so much beyond our comprehension because we are finite mortals. But that doesn't mean that we can't comprehend something - but certainly it is in terms on our level.

The observe dinosaur did not come into use till the nineteenth century advert., long after the Bible grew to become into accomplished. Even historical vocabularies did not have words equivalent to the observe dinosaur. Dinosaurs lived and died in the previous God created Adam and Eve.

Excuse me! The Bible doesn't say anything about dinosaurs don't exist. In fact in Job somewhere it talks about a creature, and we believe it was the long neck Dinosaur. You better read the whole Bible before you say things that you don't know to be true about it!

I didn't paste the entire article...this author believes dinasours DID co-exist with man!
What Happened To The Dinosaurs?
by John Whitmore
Although the monstrous creature was obviously a vegetarian, its size was overwhelming. Its hips could withstand the enormous force of each pounding step and its midsection was a mass of muscle. Its gigantic tail extended far behind him, not unlike a giant cedar tree swaying behind his body. Its bones were like steel girders with ribs like iron bars to support his enormous weight. This is the greatest creature to roam the swamps and rivers of the earth.
Is this a scene from the blockbuster movie, Jurassic Park? It could be, but it isn't. This description, which perfectly fits an Apatosaurus, is a paraphrased description taken from...

the Bible doesn't mention Dinosaurs because God destroyed them before creating man-Genesis says that God created all life, he can also take it away-man could not possibly be in charge if there are Giant reptiles at the top of the food chain-they had to go-you should read a book by Michael drosnin called "the Bible Code"-it addresses this question.
