I am a loner, but I can handle social situations and maintain my life. I just like to spend a lot of my free time alone. A lot of people say they get bored or depressed in solitude, but not me. Should I?

Not everyone gets bored or depressed alone. It sounds like you're getting enough time with other people to feel good about where you are. Some people are more introverted than others. It's good that you are peace with yourself and can enjoy time alone.

No, I'm the same way. I can go weeks occupying myself with all kind of things to do.

Sometimes I do get lonely, but I have a much higher tolerance than others. Sounds like you do too.

It's just a character trait. Not necessarily good or bad.

You sound like an introvert, which means you like being with you. A lot of people are extroverts and need others to feel fulfilled. You're fine, enjoy!

These are questions to ask yourself not others.
Most likely you are just feeling the presure to conform.
IE you feel uncomfortable that people may percieve you as desperate and lonely because they see you alone...
When in fact you perfer it.
Dont seek validation from others for your own happieness.
IF your happy alone then enjoy your own company.

of course not it means you're happy in your own skin. many people must seek solitude for the "work" we're here to do, you should take advantage of your inner strength and work towards your destiny, you know of what i speak. no more excuses its time to begin your journey.
