Tough to say. As far as longevity and sheer class I'd have to say Joe Paterno. My personal favorite is Woody Hayes but as a Buckeye I'm biased. Best overall was probably Bear Bryant.

It may be to early to say, but Pete Carroll of USC is on his way. But for history of college football, I would have to say Joe Pa or Bobby B. You could also throw in there Lou Holtz.
