Everyone thought she was in hell, but Buffy believes she was in heaven. " There was no pain, no fear no doubt til they pulled me out of heaven, I think I was in Heaven, I live in Hell cuz I've been expelled from Heaven"...yeah I've seen that episode a few too many times.

I think she would have been in limbo. She has done some good deeds but she also murdered a few bad guys along the way and even if it's for good, if it's in Christian heaven, she reamins in sin. However, I think she was in heaven until Willow pulled her back.

She said heaven where there was no pain. And there was peace. She was happy and wanted to stay. She felt very disoriented for a long time after Willow brought her back.

She told her friends that she was in hell. But when she was alone with Spike, Buffy told him that she thought that she was in Heaven, where she was at peace, and felt happy.

she was in heaven... she told her friends she was in hell so they wouldnt feel bad about bringing her back, but she was reallly in heaven.
