If you could be any Marvel character what would you be and why?

If you could be any Marvel character what would you be and why? Maybe put a lil background info on the character as well, I need to pick a Marvel hero or Villain for my person in a group, but I dont know who the "best" character is and I dont really want anything commen. So maybe ya'll will spark my interest.

I'd go with Iron Man, based solely on the new series that started with the EXTREMIS arc written by Warren Ellis. Several reasons for this:
First- Tony Stark, the man in the suit, is a genius when it comes to weapons design and the use and implementation of technology all around.
Second- After taking the EXTREMIS treatment, Stark can now control the Iron Man armor from outsied of it, as well as have immediate, real time access to all electronic media instantly through his connection with the Iron Man armor.
Third- Iron Man is a very under rated character, and, more often than not, is ignored in the face of the Marvel heavies like Captain America, Spider-Man and the X people (too many to mention on too many different teams).
Fourth- The new Iron Man armor looks cool and is virtually indestructable.
Fifth- Tony Stark is a billionaire!!

Hi. First I would like to mention to the person that chose Spawn, he is not a Marvel character. As far as who I choose. I choose Nate Grey the X Man.Of the three current Summers/Grey kids he is the coolest. No offense to Rachel "Marvel Girl" Grey or Nathaniel Christopher "Cable" Charles Summers but Nate is my favorite. He is originally from the AoA (Age of Apocalypse) at the end oh which he switched to Earth 616 and his series ended around issue #70 with his Death. So far he has not come back to life. This means that there is not a lot of background work needed to stay with in xman cannon. He is named Nate Grey in reference to the Man who put his parents DNA together Nathaniel Essex and his mother Jean Grey. Unlike his Earth 616 counterpart Cable Nate did not get stuck with the techno virus so his powers were able to more completely show themselves. That said he was the most powerful mutant alive. He was able to fly using his telekinesis. He created his own best friend. If you want more detail there are quite a few fan sites. Marvel.com and Wikipedia.org have the most up to date information.

Nightcrawler's ability to teleport makes him an unbeatable fighter against just about anyone who doesn't have god-like powers. He can teleport away with half of someone's body, leaving the other half behind. Kinda tough to beat that. In addition, his acrobatic skills, ability to blend into shadows, and prehensile tail would all be fun stuff to live life with. Plus the bamf! sound his teleportations make is iconic and cool.

Wolverine!.You just don't mess those erm...claws!.He has an admantalium skeleton,Hes almost indestrucible, has rapid healing powers, doesn't age much, stilll looks like he was only 30 when HEs actually over 200 years old. Plus he knows how to cook sushi!!!!

I would hands down be PROTEUS, this dude could transfer his mind from body to body, overriding the host mind's control; in each form he gained the skills and powers of his host. He is telepathic enough to sense opponents' fears and generate illusions of the same. He could also manipulate reality, allowing him to fly, teleport, and reshape objects around him.

I would be the invisible woman but a man version.You could sneek up on bad guys and start beating them up or pass through security and security cameras.You can also protect yourself from energy beams,explosives,etc and shoot your shields from your hands to knock down or kill your enemies.She is pretty powerful and she can always practice more to increase her power and protection.
