When was the last time England did play well at a world cup? 1966?
Any way The best team in the world cup won the world cup in my opinion thats all that counts. France had a few good games but were crap in a few too. Italy only lost 2 goals 1 a freak own goal and 1 a gift pen from the ref.
No other team performed better than Italy. Even in the final, sure France from the second half onwards had all the posession but Italy still had more clear Scoring chances Pirlo's free kick,Materazzi's goal,Thuram Clearence off the line, Toni hit the bar and also had a goal rull for offside(it was a close call too).
So ITALIA deserve to be world champions no doubt!!!!!!!

I'm sad to say that Brazil didn't lose to a sucky team. They lost to a team that wanted to win. Brazil had no desire to win the cup or at least they played like they didn't want to be there. England, in the other hand, always chokes at the end. The right teams won, including ITALY!!

I am happy about Brazil losing. I never liked Brazil, and France is not a sucky team! France is an amazing team. Allez Les Bleus!
I am upset that England lost, I am upset that Germany lost the most. I am a very big fan of Germany and was completely heartbroken with their loss. And I really believe England should have beaten Portugal. They just got unlucky. As one English fan said: "We play great and lose in the most heartbreaking of ways, it's a hard life being an England fan." See you in 2010, Lions!

I suppose it depends on your definition of "good" and "sucky" teams. Sure, Brazil was eliminated, but they weren't playing that well in the World Cup, and what they did before that, though awesome, is irrelevant in the end. Qualifying at the top of your group and having some of the best players in the world just isn't enough.
England...well, I'll refrain from saying anything about them because I'll never be able to give a totally unbiased opinion there, there's too much history between our countries. :P
The disqualifications that truly annoyed me: Argentina and Australia. I don't think either one deserved to go out the way they did; a last-minute penalty or a shootout with a replacement goalie? Ouch.

It easily is problematical at the same time as your crew isn't doing properly. it really is all area of being a fan even if. each and every in certain situations it ought to no longer look like it, yet dealing with those brutal losses is 100% properly worth it for each and each and every of the impressive wins your crew receives in the course of the season. The Rangers walked off adversarial to Mariano some video games in the past, and it sucked. The very next day, there develop into yet another interesting pastime, the Yankees battled lower back the completed pastime and ended up prevailing. I remember that pastime made me so chuffed, in order that pleased with our adult males for combating lower back and under no circumstances giving up. dealing with the cruel situations is area of being a baseball fan. It makes the wins that significantly better, even if. The Rays are a sturdy crew, and nonetheless in second position in the AL East. they're too sturdy of a crew to stay like this for something of the season, i will allow you to recognize that.

What pissed me realy off is the cheating, drama in the pitch and bribing of officials, especially when a certain tema could not win and invented a penalty
