I've been reading through quite a bit of posts... and a recurring theme seems to be cheating men.... Personally i truely belive that women cheat just as much as and evern more than men... And that the only reason for the perception of the "cheating man" is historical (the days of old when it was an accepted thing) and perhaps the biggest reason for the perception is that... Men get caught.... women don't...... I'd welcome view on this.

WoW.....I really appreciate the women coming out on this one..... Cause i think guys got a bad rap on this one for years.... From personaly observation and a bit of experience (and not being the cheater)... I think that Men get caught because they get excited and do one of a number of things...like breaking they're routine (start coming in late), they have to tell someone eventually, can't keep quiet etc.... Women seem to be smarter.... they never change their routine.... they're home and usual times, diner is alway there like normal... and conversation flows as normal....
Either way I don't think its right..... but just thought I'd add this dimension to what I thought was a one sided view....

I am sure just as many woman cheat as men the only differences are 1) women are better at hiding things and are more suspicious by nature which is why they catch the man and 2) once caught men don't get all hysterical and start crying which women do. Last a lot more woman get caught than what men admit to because as a man they aren't going to have a hit to their ego by admitting their partner found someone else.

In watching friends going through this stage of cheating. I see that men get caught because they can't not keep up with their own lie. They will say one thing that thensay something else. I have seen it done and it not good.
But when a women cheat they will back up anything they do not to get caught. So it is harder for a man to catch a woman in her act.
Then you have couples that will cheat on each other but stay together and fight about. That I don't understand.

Men and women are capable of cheating the same....but i will agree with you that women can cheat more, cause women are the ones, like always, being asked out, and women are always sought after. You don't see a girl walk up to a guy and ask him out everyday..so i think if the woman is not getting what she wants out of the guy she is with and has no morals or any integrity, then women cheat and lie more then men. Period.

I use to think that men were the biggest cheaters ever, until a program on tv opened my eyes to the fact that a lot of women cheat. I really had a hard time believing it, they didn't mention being caught at it though.

It's a 50-50 thing. The only reason why we hear more about men cheating is the fact that women are more vocal about their cheating husbands/ boyfriends. Men on the other hand will just say f*ck u and move on. But no, women will dwell on it and keep with it until everyone that she that she is acquianted with knows that he is cheating scum.

Everyone cheats, men get caught more because women are more paranoid about it and incessantly check on their boyfriends. Most men don't think to follow their girlfriends or sniff their clothes etc.
Historically, women were oppressed enough that the risk factor of cheating was too high. In our society, we don't get stoned to death or executed for cheating, so more women probably cheat now than did in history.

Yeah, women do cheat too, but men get caught. If men didn't get caught then there wouldn't be such a recurring theme. Men just seem to want to be caught. Best wishes

I think you're right. My boyfriend cheated and I cheated. Only, I found out that he cheated and he never found out that I did. Does that mean women are better liars than men? I don't think so...
I think that people just expect guys to cheat more than women, so there seems to be more suspicions if a guy is behaving odly rather than a woman. Hope that makes sense!

I was good at cheating on my husbands lmao. The first one didn't find out till after I filed for divorce. He didn't find out through me. My so called friends told him everything and then I told him the truth. My second one found out when someone saw me with husband number 1 lmao. I denied it but came clean after our divorce. We didn't get divorced for cheating though. Anyway, I think both men and women are equal when it comes to cheating. I don't think one gender does more cheating than the other. However, I must say that neither guy cheated on me. So shame on me! lmao

It seems that it goes 50/50!
Men like variety, and women like to feel needed.
I have never totally cheated, and i'm sure hubby hasn't either. Love is love, sex is physical, in my eyes. And that's why more men get caught, they rely too much on physical attraction, while women feel the NEED!
