I would say religion.

Science deals in absolutes. It deals in values and theories that can be proven using hard facts.

Religion on the other hand is open to belief and interpretation, so the same passage in any holy book could mean as many different things as there are religious officials. As such, it is impossible to get to a single proveable answer, and therefore is much harder to understand as there is an infinity of human factors to contend with.

I think the question is misleading. Science and Religion are not comparable because they're so different. One person might think String Theory is a difficult thing to get their mind around. Another person might have a hard time discerning whether or not using stem cells is prohibited by their religion and why. Science becomes more difficult to understand in it's observation of things that we cannot see with the naked eye, things that don't conform to how we imagined that things worked. Religion becomes more difficult to understand in moral issues with respect to the prohibition of certain acts and the ensuing contradictions.

it's kind of hard to compare th two because they're both so different. It'd be like asking what's a better, a sandwich or a salad? Both have their pros, and cons. One musn't compare two things that may seem related, but deep down, accomplish very different things.

Science is the objective search for truth based on observation and measurement and reasoning. Religion is someone's idea of the truth, supposedly revealed by god. There's no comparison.
