Is it really worth it? i mean to give out your information and to find you dont get nothing? Do any of you actually get paid?

I'd like to know your thoughts on this cause i signed up for one but it seems like the surveys aren't coming.

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. So you will only get surveys IF and ONLY IF the survey matches your demographic or professional characteristic

Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short list of legitimate market research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

well i was one of the stupid lucky ones to do it. i paid 30$ to sign up becuz they convinced me that i would make 7 grand a month for just 5 mins of my time a day. Well that was a lie in itself. after paying the 30$ i got directed to this site with all these surveys to do and fill out. THE CATCH ..you fill out the survey and they say they will send you a free sample for each offer well you mustt pay the S&H which is like 5$ per offer. Sure it says that you will be paid 10$ back for doing that but think about it. you are spending more money than you are making. Plus you have them send you your money until you have over 100$ worth of surveys done. LUCKILY they had a money back garentee! DON'T DO IT! TRUST ME

paid surveys are legal phishing tools used to have you freely divulge a working email to an "opt-in" mass mail delivery subsystem. Congratulations, your email inbox will be soon be flooded with "junk mail". Sadly, there is nothing that can be done about this situation, other than to create a new email address. Paid surveys are 99% of the time scams.
