In 1967 Bald Eagles were considered an endangered species, and protected by the Endangered Species Act. It is our Nations Bird. Do a little research, go to BaldEagleInfo.com. Not only is it against the law , I can't understand why someone would want to kill such a beautiful bird. See if you can pursue some other way to get them out of your trees if they are a nuisance to you. Also if you have children what a wonderful opportunity you have to teach them something first hand. Just something for you to think about if you care at all.
StoneDrunk, I had to come back and add this for you: Understand you don't mess with 3 things...a man's woman, paycheck, or new Ford pick-up, but DUDE ya can't pay for the woman or truck sitting in FEDERAL PEN. Besides have a feeling, someone taught you something, you said May I ,not Can I

Now this is really a tough question to answer,..you know.
The only thing that comes to mind is to tell you how it is with cats.
The easiest way to train a cat to use a litter box is to put a piece of crap, as you call it, in the litter box to start with. You know, as a way of telling the cat where it's ok to go.
Now,without your meaning to, it seems to me that's kinda what you did with your black Ford truck.
By your constantly putting a piece of crap (as you call it) into your black Ford truck in the first place you have made it a target for the bald eagles to do the same.
And by the way, because you actually asked a question like this I'm quite sure you'll have missed the point. Let someone you think is a real a-- hole read and explain it to you.
Do yourself and the eagles a big favor, move, sell your house to a real human being.

No. They are aprotected species. Move your truck and take some interesting pictures of the eagles. Just don't let your cat or small dog out or they may become eagle dinner.

Even having a Bald Eagle feather in your possession is a Federal crime. Shooting one is Federal jail time.
You need to talk to the fish and game folks about getting them to move. Otherwise move the truck.
Finally, they may just be expressing their opinion about your choice of a truck.

Maybe you should call your local animal control and have them come and relocate the birds for you, i'm sure they would seeing as how they are endangered species. until then, you're gonna have to move your truck and cuss at them from a distance.

No! They are a protected species. Contact you local animal control officer or wildlife specialist to see if they can relocate them. If you shoot them, you could wind up in the "cross bar hotel".
