Everyone is capable of falling in love with both women and men. However, because our society frowns on homosexuality, we are conditioned from birth to be attracted only to people of the "opposite" sex. In some cultures, homosexuality is accepted and even encouraged. For example, I read that in Turkey, if a man has sex with another man, he's considered manly. The ancient Greeks and Persians were famous for tolerating and even encouraging homosexuality.

You may be objecting on the grounds that you can't be sexually attracted to a person of a particular sex. But love and sexual attraction, while they go together so often, are different things and can exist separately. Remember, the Greeks had 6 differnet words for different kinds of love.

People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.

Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.

Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.

Softness. Of course, it doesn't hurt that, being different than men, they are intriging. Plus, breasts are the best invention ever.

I'm a man who cudn't resist that question.

The desire to share your life with someone. The desire to be important to someone. The desire to be sexy to someone. Having someone who knows all about you... the good and the bad and yet they still want to come home to you at the end of the day. The desire to know that someone is thinking about us and missing us and needs us in their life. Wanting to touch and be touched by someone. Someone to have little us's with :D

Isnt love grand?!
