once a fever blister or cold sore has bloomed, it is going to run it's course, no way to get rid of it in one day.
Some doctors will prescribe acyclovir to reduce the symptoms, and the otc cream called abreva helps.

There’s nothing worse than a painful fever blister, which always seems to appear just when you least want one. Fever blisters are caused by a herpes simplex virus similar to the virus that causes genital herpes. It hides out in the nerves and becomes active as a result of stress, overexposure to sunlight, or hormonal changes, or when your immune system is weak. You usually get a warning of a fever blister–tingling, discomfort, itching, or aching. This is when we want you to begin using the remedies described here. Don’t wait until a blister erupts; by then, it’s often too late. Getting Rid of Fever Blisters To reduce the duration and severity of an outbreak, follow this advice at the first tingling. 1.Apply a damp black tea bag to the area where the outbreak typically occurs. Keep it on for 10 minutes. Repeat three or four times a day. Next, apply an ice pack to the same area. Keep the ice on for 15 minutes, and repeat three or four times a day. 2.After each ice application, thickly apply lemon balm ointment (70:1 concentration) to the area. Lemon balm is sold in health food stores and online under the brand name Cold Sore Relief. Now take 1 gram lysine along with 1,000 milligrams vitamin C that also contains 1,000 milligrams of flavonoids. Take up to five times a day until the recurrence ends. Also take a baby aspirin (83 milligrams) once a day with food.

I don't think u can get rid of it in one day.I have always gotten those nasty fever blisters ever since i was a child. But i have found that Abreva works really good. Put it on as soon as u feel a blister coming up,and it does shorten the time it stays and always made mine come up smaller. You can get it from Wal-mart or any drug store. It's about $12.00 a tube, and the tube is really small, but i'd say it's worth it.

fever blister? Do you mean a "cold sore"... sorry but you have contracted the herpies virus.

you can not get rid of it in one day. But here are some things that can help:

Abreva

lip balm with L-Lysine

stay away from foods that have the amino acid L-Arginine (chocolate, wheat, peanuts)

Do no break the sore, this will most likely cause it to spread.
Wash your hands after touching the area.
Do not allow anyone to come in contact with it - you will infect then with the virus.

I don't think it's possible but I used vinegar or salt water. If you use it you would probably get rid of it in 2-3 days. Good luck getting rid of them :p.
