OK I'm NOT trying to be funny just some simple things to check...
Are your speakers plugged into the correct jack on your PC the SPKR jack and not the MIC jack?
Are your speakers turned on?
If they are amplified speakers is the power supply plugged in?
Is your sound card configured properly?

you see the speaker icon next to the clock on the bottom right? Double click on it. You will find a lever for "wav" raise it all the way up, enjoy the music!

try restarting your computer... my itunes did the same thing to me before, and somehow, that worked.
you could also check the sound and audio devices in control panel to see if anything is muted or all the way down.
as a last resort call customer service of whatever brand name your computer is.

* Check if you have the mute button on
* Check if the speakers are on and the volume is on
* Check if all the wires are still connected.

if you have another player try that one and see if you have volume on that one. u may have lost your audio driver in your pc alltogether. if you still have sound on your pc but just not in your media player delete it and try reinstalling it.
