Generally places like Advance Auto Parts take used motor oil. I would call them up and see what you need to do in order to do it. You can not dispose of used motor oil anywhere. It is a serious EPA violation.

You can have a bon fire. Use the oil to keep the fire going. In the country, some people do it that way.

You could also, put the oil in a container, and find a parking lot some where. Open your door and set the container on the surface, close door and drive off.

Most people would tell you to take it too a recycling center. But if you have a gravel drive way it helps keep the dust down. Or you can use it on wood fence post to help preserve them. Or you can pour it on some old papers and trash and burn it. Or just pour it down the storm drain the epa loves it when you do that.

bottle it up and take it to any auto parts store. By now they should all have a large container in which to dispose of it.

Take it to your local recycling center. Usually any place that changes oil such as a repair shop.

Take it to any local gas station and they will let you recycle it for free, by pouring it into a special tank.
1qt of used motor oil can pollute 1Million gals of ground water, so please do recycle.
