It's pretty normal. Your blood is pumping for two now. Just try to remember to get up slower, and keep your feet up while sitting/lying as much as you can. Making sure you drink lots of water and not letting yourself get too hungry also help a lot.

I went through it too while I was pregnant. If you are laying down dont stand up right away, sit up for a bit and then slowly stand up. If you are sitting, stand up slowly, not so slow you look silly or anything, but slow enough to where you dont feel faint. I had to usually sit for awhile before I was ready to stand. You might also have low blood pressure. You can ask your dr for more tips next time you go in for an appointment.

Are you seeing an OB-GYN? Your doctor might be better able to help you with this.

Morning sickness is quite common in the first trimester. The dizziness is mainly due to your body's increased nutrition requirements. It's recommended that you start taking pre-natal vitamins. Ginger tea is supposed to be good for preventing nausea. You can also do some mild yoga to better adjust your body to all the changes it's going through. And don't work too hard!

I experienced dizzy spells while pregnant, and my doc told me I had a very low hemoglobin count, or low iron level. I literally had to close my eyes to keep from seeing the room spin out of control right in front of me, and even then, I felt like gravity was just pushing me down. He prescribed me iron pills. After taking them, my stomach had definitely seen better days, but the dizzy spells were gone. Hope this helps.

thats serious, im 5 1/2 months preggers and im reading a book called "What to Expect When Your Expecting" and it says in the book that if you black out to call doc same day and see doc. cuz blackouts are not good, i get dizzy or get headrush when i get up, but thats ok, thats because ur equalibrium (think that balances you) is off b/c of the baby, but from what i know you shouldnt be blacking out.
good luck!

Are you taking prenatal vitamins? If not ask your doctor to prescribe some, because you may have a iron deficiancy. I had really low iron when I was pregnant even with my prenatals, it sucked cause I couldnt hardly do anything without feeling like passing out.

try sitting up slowly.

Or see your doctor. THis could be the onset of a condition called vaso-vagal syncopy. part of the condition is that your heart rate, or blood pressure can't keep up with sudden changes in elevation and it makes you dizzy until your heart can pump blood into your brain. please see a doctor, if this condition worsens, it can lead to fainting and seizures, neither of which would be good for the baby.

Try getting up VERY slowly...If you are laying down...Just get into a sitting position for a few moments then stand up.

It's normal for some women to faint when they are pregnant, but it sounds like you might be having problems with really low blood pressure. You should see your doctor as soon as possible and discuss this problem.
