"Everything I do just comes undone," he sings in that song.

Now I've never met Chris, but I heard that he's married to the lovely Gwyneth Paltrow, has two kids and is a millionaire after producing three best selling albums in a row.

And he's "so scared about the future" as well.

I don't know about you, but coming from him, those lyrics try my patience somewhat. Yet what to do..?

(Best suggestion, 10 points!)

As for "if you don't like him, don't listen," I would dearly love to exercise that option - and I do my best - but sadly this "music" is ****ing inescapable. (In case you didn't know.)

Have to admit that Coldplay are a pain in the ***. The lyrics can seem self indulgent since Chris Martin has the millionaire/icon wife and Apple/Moses family. But I let him off because the band is a big supporter of Oxfam. Not bad afterall.

Someone needs to give him some Ritalin. Then maybe, they'll become warmplay, or at least tepidplay.

But if my wife were going around naming my kids stupid names like "Apple", I'd be pretty melancholy, too.

And Shakespeare in Love didn't deserve any of those Oscars.

If you don't like his music, stop listening.

And remember, people can write lyrics based on PAST experiences. I am happily married, but I still write music based on my past when life was lonely and frustrating. mostly because I feel those songs more deeply AND becuase other people relate to them better.

Chances are songs he is releasing now, were recorded over a year ago, and written years before that.

Just get over yourself, the man can write about whatever he wants.

He's just annoying. Coldplay I've hated since he did that Yellow song. Another Land of Eng personage who needs to eat a burger, get some sun and stop whining. They've done one song (Clocks) that even remotely turns my twinkie.

Go out and buy some Kasabian or The Music is my advice.

He's rapidly becoming a mega prat. What's with all the stripes? and the silly 'hopping' dance? Yet another example of a talent blown away with fame and people kissing their backsides.

Fame and success does not make one inhuman. He is still subject to the same fears and disappointments we all go through.
