Both work just as well since they use basically the same hormones, they're just put into your body differently.
And whoever said that it is most effective on women 97 lbs or lighter is wrong.

I have never tried the patch, the pill has always worked for me for 11 years now.

They both work the same, it's just which one is one more convenient for your lifestyle. Some times the patch comes off or may irritate your skin but sometimes people forget to take the pill. Both are just as effective though.

I've used the Pill, the Patch, and the Ring. Currently I use the Patch and I find it easy, reliable, and seeing it every day reminds me that I am making a conscientious choice to start my family when I'm ready. And a side note, while the Ring is handy, it can make your vaginal discharge smelly and (so I've heard) foul tasting.

I think the pill, b/c I heard that the patch works best on 97lbs or lighter and what real women weighs that? I'm not fat, but that thought is scary.

The pill.The patch has to many problems with blood clots.I found that out by watching the news.Sounds to much of a health risk for me.
