It's all in the tone. It can't be seen or felt and you wont find it in the specs. Go down to your local music store find a LP plug in into a nice tube amp and have some fun. You will soon understand why the LP is so loved!

the Les Paul is quite a heavy guitar but it's pick-ups give it a really crunchy sound. it really cuts through the background music and is great for power chords and solos. get one if you can!
