Unless being used as part of a "date night" clean will do. 90% of the men imagining you undressed will skip straight to naked and the other 10% will have them matching. Only need to be ready for action with intended target.

My bra and pants never match but sometimes I match my bra and panties. The only time I match the two is when I know my boyfriend is going to see them ... I think men think its kind of sexy when you have on a sexy matching set.

It completely depends on you. The set doesn't have to match exactly, having a similar look or style is good, or colors that just go together like reds and oranges and such. It's always best to put a solid with a pattern, differing patterns can look really bad. And it is important that they are clean!

I don't think so. I love to match under there, but I don't always match. I just wear whatever is comfortable. I mean if I am going to be with a girl, you know..., then of course I will match, it makes the experience of her taking off my clothing much more sexy, but other than that, I don't think about it...

[1] If you're dressing for yourself, wear what you want. No one else can see.
[2] Are you undressing to impress a guy? Look at this way. Any guy who is disappointed by your underwear not matching when you are in the process of getting naked for him is either gay or gay (or maybe gay).
There should be bigger things on his mind (and soon, in his pants).
I'm a guy who feels pretty proud of himself when I have a matching pair of socks. I'd feel pretty churlish offering fashion advice to a girl who seems to like me.

If you think you're going to be showing off your underwear! Clean undies are a must but not so matching ones.

under no circumstances lol my boobs are too huge, my bras do not comprise matching pants, like the smaller breasted women human beings they ought to purchase gadgets, i will't. my bras on there own value a bloody fortune....

I think it is hot when a woman wears a matching bra and panties. But I know this is not always possible. so if she does not, I think it is still hot!

If you are GUARANTEED to be the other one seeing them, by all means wear mismatched underwear...but should anyone be able to 'sneak a peek', they should be treated the same as socks:
*Same color if not same brand,
*No holes or overstretched elastic, causing "slippage",
*Absolutely no 'perceivable odor'.
These rules apply whether a stranger sees them or...
Your husband,
Your boyfriend,
Your personal trainer,
Your gay 'Gal Pal'
Your sister, either by blood or "from another mister"...
Essentially, if you're not an eighty year old "cat lady" or child that just learned to dress themselves, "Wear your underwear like a pair." Hope this helps!
