quite agree, when they have bled the team dry and they have fell through the leagues. they will sell when the once great club is an embarrassment to itself.
they should stick to something that they know.

really the fans should not blame the glazers for buying the shares. they cannot buy shares that are not for sale!!!!!! the blame for the glazers lies with the major shareholders that sold out once the big ones go the small ones follow, [even fergie!!]

United is a good vehicle for the Glazers to offload debt from their other businesses, and it still has many assets to strip. Even then Man U will still be profitable, so the Glazers are unlikely to sell up any time soon.

One year soon Manchester United will fail to qualify for the European Cup, or even the UEFA Cup. I can't see Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool failing to qualify for Europe in the near future, and there are other teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa if they are refinanced, West Ham, if they keep their young players, and Charlton, if Ian Dowie motivates them, queueing up for the fourth place. If Man U fail to qualify for Europe for a couple of years running they will be in trouble, like Newcastle now.

Man Utd is run for a profit, and it still makes one thanks to their sales to fans, and corporate sponsorship which also eventually depends on the fan base.

If the present squad is not substantially strengthened, Man Utd might not make it to the Champions League next year. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool/Spurs could be the top 4. No CL money, loss of fair weather fans... The value of Man Utd as a business will drop.

No CL in 2007, harder to attract players who could bring the team back on track, less worth the investment injection...

The Glazers could try to cut their losses by 2008, or even mid 2007. Who would buy a club on the decline with so much debt then?

I am a very big united fan and I doubt they will leave for a while.

But if you are going to comment on it get your facts right, Malcom Glazer owns Tampa Bay Buccaneers which are an American football team not basketball which the majority of real united fans know!!!

Don't be silly mate. Once the yanks get in, it's all down hill. I'm a West Ham boy but I live in north America, and I will tell you, all they want is profit. I really don't give a sh** about Man U, and neither do the Glazers, unless they can make money. Yanks just have no class. Only a yank calls it SOCCER.

It's the NFL football's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As far as the Glazers, like any other sporst team owners, when they either lose too much money or when they feel like selling.

I sympathize but if you and other fans want to have a change in ownership stop going to Utd matches and buying Utd products. Owners understand only one thing--money. Only then will things change.

When its broke, Old Trafford lies in ruins and the glory days are a distant memory. And the only team youve got left to support is FC United in the Pontins League

With love,
