Hi there, I've just been looking at your other questions and found out that you have only just recently started to have periods. They usually take a few months even up to a year or so to settle down into a regular pattern. Even then it's not that uncommon to be a couple of days late every now and again. Don't know how old you are, so I will word it very carefully, as long as your not up to anything with boys you have nothing to worry about, if you are you really need to discuss your options with your mum, that's if you have told her now that you have started your periods. She will be very understanding and think you are very mature that you are open enough to discuss contraception with her. I hope your over sixteen though before you are getting up to things.
Good luck in life

It's normal if you were stressed in anyway, that could affect the timing. If it's late like a week, then get a checkup done.
But then again my wife has been two weeks late on more than one occasion because there was stress related stuff at work.....
Everyone is different and the body may change a little with age or with diet and stress related issues.

A variance of 1-5 days is normal. Most people do not have a super regular period. Depending on how long your cycle tends to be (usually 28-32 days) will determine when it is due. Things like stress, lack of sleep, change in environment, etc can all have an effect on when you get it too.

Yeah one day is not odd. Until I began taking birthcontrol at about the age of 20 my period was never predicable. It was anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks between periods during that time.

it typically is normal to have a period that starts within a 1-3 day range. the reason for this is because there are outside elements that can have affect on your start date, like stress.
i was 7 days late once. i was so freaked out i went and bought home pregnancy tests and everything. when i finally started, i reflected on everything that had been going on in my life: Hurricane Katrina.

That is completely normal. your period will not always come in one specific day forever. If you are young, this is even more normal since your period is trying to find regularity. Don't worry about it

Very normal. Hopefully you're not having sex because you're too immature(not in a bad way) if you're asking a question like this.

Sometimes, depending on your age, you can skip your period for months at a time. One day is nothing, if it continues, and you are sexually active, consult a doctor.

Absolutely. If you're more than a week late, then you might want to call your ob/gyn.
