just write the formula which is c=2pietimesradius
50=2(3.14)r
50=6.28r
around 7.9 or 8 is radius

now to find the diameter use the same formula
96=3.14d
diameter is 30.6 in this one you don't divide by two because you want the diameter and the radius is half the diameter.
if you are confuse in who has the right answer just plug in the numbers!!!!

Coffee Pie Donuts
Circumference = Pi * Diameter

diameter = 2 * radius

1. 50=Pi*2*r
r = 25/Pi

2. 96 = Pi * d
d = 96/Pi

1. Circumference equals pi times the radius squared.
C = (pi)r squared
50 = (3.14)(r)squared
50/3.14 = 15.92...
r = square root of 15.92....
r = 3.9904... - round up to 4 cm

2. Diameter is two times the radius.
C = (pi)r squared
96 = 3.14 r squared
96/3.14 = r squared = 30.57....
r = square root of 30.57... = 5.529... - round to 5.53 cm
d = (2)(5.53) = 11.06 cm

2r=d, pi d = c where r=radius, d=diameter, c=circumference

pi d = 50
d = 50/pi
r = (50/pi)2

pi d = 96
d = 96/pi
