Is there a way of getting my i-pod back onto factory settings? there isn't a master reset and the other resets on the menu are pretty poor........

Within the untilities disk you get with the Ipod, there is software that lets you do a factory reset on the device. This will format it and install all the Ipod software that it requires. Use a small hammer to hold down the menu button and pause at the same time while screaming the following
"Reset you stupid bugger!"

hold downn menu and pause and it will reset

well if you meen crash the entire ipod and like start from scratch it a setting on i tunes
