I’m 16 years old and on the pill. I had sex with my boyfriend on the night of June 24 the vary next day I left for Mexico for vacation, while there I accidentally forgot to take my pill for several days. When I got home I started my period on the July 2nd though my period lasted five days like normal for me on the pill, it was vary light, using light tampons for the first three days and then only vary light spotting for the next two. The first time I had any sign of pregnancy was the 5th when I threw up early that morning and other then that I had an increase in appetite but the smell or consumption of food would make me sick. I wouldn’t throw up but was miserable until I wasn’t full anymore. Usually I could only eat about a handful of food at a time before I started feeling sick. Then another week or so with my queasiness I threw up again, after eating in the afternoon. I have also been experiencing irregular sleeping patterns often-needing naps during the day. Well, then I began to loose weight (I have been exercising more then usual). I am still having an increase in physical activity but now I’m beginning to gain weight back a vary miniscule amount but odd for the fact that I had been loosing weight, and my food intake while slightly better is still not vary successful. Today was the worst sign of fatigue yet, though for the entirety of summer I have been getting a full 8 hours of sleep tonight for some reason I slept for 12 hours something VARY uncommon for me. Typically, even if I don’t have anything to do, I will always sleep just 8 hours typically during the summer I stay up till around 1 in the morning and wake around 8 possibly nine. Yet today I went to sleep at one in the morning and woke up and nearly one thirty in the afternoon. I have been also experiencing unusual lower back pain and a brownish red discharge over the past few days. We did not use any other form of protection other then my pills and that was also the first time that he ejaculated inside me, no we have not had sex since the 24. I have had pregnancy scares before but this is by far the worst this is the only time I have ever had actual symptom not just paranoia. I have been under an unusual amount of stress lately so that could be it but if not I want to make sure. Please if any of you have an idea please tell me.

Talk to your parents or whomever you feel comfortable talking to that is an adult, and have them schedule you an appointment with an OB/GYN. It could just be stress, like you said. Stress sometimes plays a major role when it comes to your period. Being stressed can also alter your sleep pattern. But as far as the back pain and discharge are concerned, you should see a doctor. That being said, I know that there are a lot of teens today having sex and on birth control, but with all the STDs that are out, including HIV/AIDS, why are you having unprotected sex? Are you trying to get pregnant? I hope not.

you've asked this question several times. i hope you have taken a test by now. although you are totally describing morning sickness---and it is quite possible if you have been having lots of sex prior to that day. but your timeline does not add up that you are pg from an encounter on june 24. morning sickness like you described shows it's ugly head around 6 wks. when you threw up--on july 5, you would have been 3.75 wks pg. if you are pg, your dates are probably off and it might be from an encounter earlier that month. and if you aren't, skipping the pill probably screwed you up or you are probably sick. mono or something. TAKE A TEST.

Well, you usually don't get symptoms until around 6 weeks...so the way you seem to be describing it..it's too early for symptoms. You would only be 4 weeks and two days pregnant (about 2 weeks after conception) it takes a while for the hcg hormone to get into your system and cause symptoms. Take a test, call the dr and get checked out if youre that worried.

If you had your period then you are unlikely to be pregnant. As far as all the other stuff it could be a aviral infection , something you picked up on vacation or just your nerves. If you don't take the pill when you are suppose to you mess up all the hormones in your system , it can mess up your period as well as cause things like false morning sickness or BAD PMS. You are probably fine. If you are really worried take a test they are cheap and fast.

you need to get a pregnancy test done.
If you are scared there are agencies out there that are confidential that are able & willing to help.
ex: Birth Right, Pregnancy Crisis, etc
You can call your local hospital & let them know your situation & they will be best in directing you in the proper direction
Good -Luck
Take Care

Birth control pills only work if you take them and they are not guaranteened even if you do. Take a pregnancy test. Then, call Planned Parenthood.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY TAKE A TEST FIRST. BUT REALLY IT JUST SOUNDS LIKE THE REACTION FROM NOT TAKING YOUR PILL. YOUR BODY IS USED TO YOU TAKING THE PILL AND WHEN YOU STOP IS WHEN YOUR PERIOD IS SUPPOSED TO COME..THATS WHAT THE PILL DOES. I WOULD DEFINETLY GO TO DOC AND GET CHECKED JUST IN CASE.
