Well, there are no manga movies, as 'manga' refers only to Japanese comic books. A movie of a manga would be classified as anime, not manga. That being said, you can't go wrong with Hayao Miyazaki. 'Voices of a Distant Star' is also supposed to be good.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki. My personal fav of his is Naussica of the Valley of the Wind. I've seen two Ghost in a Shell and they were also good. Shaolin Soccer is live action but also very good.

The MANGA company also makes "MANGA" movies...
Evangelion and Miyazaki (While godly) aren't MANGA films...
X-Japan (Movie version) is one of my favorites, as well as Shadow Fighter.
