Most definitely. Look at early Rock-- Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire or Elvis, to the Beatles...the 1st time they were on the Ed Sullivan show, my parents changed the channel- they thought the Beatles were disgusting. Then the Rolling Stones came along and Ed made them change words in their songs -- Let spend the night together became Let's spend some time together.
And then there was the rest of the British Invasion - Herman's Hermits and the Beach Music-- Look at the Beach Boys...an American icon.

Don't forget CCR, Fogerty, Cat Steven and JT.

It just keeps going, the sounds were endless and good. I could go on for hours.

I hear the current rock and I like some of it, but the energy is gone, the attitude is different.

It has changed.

It;s a sturdy question on condition that the early the Rock exchange into uncooked and the main suitable there ever exchange into for my area. despite if, like each thing else, Rock grew to alter into extra state-of-the-paintings till it progressed into the Beatles and the Stones and went on from there. you have replied your individual question once you point out the be conscious company with the aid of fact each and all the above performers have been first and ultimate musicians and could have performed for no longer something yet as quickly as the marketers got here alongside - Col t Parker exchange into the 1st and the worst -- then they directed song for the sake of money till as we talk we've degenerated to youthful babies dancing around and making a track rubbish to youthful women --- dont commence me !

of course, with all of the new sounds they can create in the studio, there is more exposure for people to get their big break, it does seem that they do let just about anyone sing, i mean come on, ashlee simpson, lindsay lohan, paris hilton, etc? there is NO talent there, even though it's not rock and roll it shows how the talent is slipping
