I have just lived 20 years in the country.. Bear - cougar - coyote - deer - eagles - wolves.. I also raises sheep and dairy goats, along with rabbits.. before that I had horses and geese.
I now live in the village.. life here is..unique. It's more noise.. of all hours of the day and night.. but nothing we can't handle. Seems everyone in the village has fireworks, and they make a point of shooting them off when they have parties.
The only difference is that here, the people live closer..
If we were ever in need of help, both the country and the village people come out quickly to lend a hand and help however they can.
Big whopping 656 population..
So, am I still in the country according to some??

Country life by far. I've lived in the city and country. I'll never go back to the city. The country is so peaceful and relaxing and nothing beats that. I love having a big peace of property with neighbors down the road. You can do whatever you want. I have thrown good parties, get to ride my dirt bike whenever I want, get to relax out in the yard with peace and quiet with out cars everywhere blowing horns and what not, have plenty of room for my 2 dogs to run around. There's many more advantages, but I'll be here all day.

The best thing about living in the country is that you can visit the city and go back to the peace of home!
I love living in the woods. The air smells of trees and fresh air, the noise is only birds and frogs with an occasional cricket or arguing squirrels. Country life is slower, more relaxed and even paced.
Don't get me wrong, I love to go to the city to see the sights like museums, the planetarium, fairs etc...Chicago is my favorite city. But, I would go stark raving mad if I had to live in an apartment or spend $1,500 a month for rent. Bless my little home in the arms of mother nature!

They are both better, depending whether is suites the person living there.
There are disadvantages and advantages to both location,
E.g. Town life you are close to where most entertainment things like movies, night clubs and fast life. Country life, is mainly connected with nature and not busy.

Town life covers the immediate smell of cars and smog and accidents are much higher to occur than in a Country where the air is cleaner and fresh away from the noise and peaceful tranquility.

My husband and I grew up in the city and moved to the country about 16 years ago. We love living in the country, but it's not for everyone. I think whatever suits you is the best.

That depends upon how much air you need to survive. The country is indeed a quiet place - filled with fresh air, while on the other hand, the city is emerged in smog and everyone is afraid to interact with one another. Whatever floats your boat.... But go where you will find peace, where you may get to know yourself better and go where you can obtain knowledge, wisdom and a closer relationship with God. Peace be upon you!!
