My i-pod has got all it's old playlists on it but no music it had 486 before i put it in now it's got sod all, it won't let me delete old playlists and it won't put any music on what am i going to do now i need to listen to thom yorke on the way to work!!!!!!!!

hold down select and menu until the appl symbol comes up. that should work. otherwise go to troubleshooting in ur manual

Within the untilities disk you get with the Ipod, there is software that lets you do a factory reset on the device. This will format it and install all the Ipod software that it requires. This is covered in detail on http://www.apple.com/support/ipod101/help/ . This should solve your probs. Hope this helps

may be that got wiped off or if you connect with your computer and if that doesnt show then go to apple and trying to recover with i tune software may be you will recover it
