My niece has been asking me to help her with this assignment, so I decided to read it. So far, it does not make any sense to me; I never got into reading in high school, so this is a little difficult for me. Help!

"Scout Finch lives with her brother, Jem, and their widowed father, Atticus, in the sleepy Alabama county of Maycomb. Maycomb is suffering through the Great Depression, but Atticus is a prominent lawyer and the Finch family is reasonably well off in comparison to the rest of society. One summer, Jem and Scout befriend a boy named Dill, who has come to live in their neighborhood for the summer, and the trio acts out stories together. Eventually, Dill becomes fascinated with the spooky house on their street called the Radley Place. The house is owned by Mr. Nathan Radley, whose brother, Arthur (nicknamed Boo), has lived there for years without venturing outside in daylight. " ........

I didn't read the book, but I watched the movie and thought it was horrible. Did it even have a plot?

properly in intense college i imagine its required. yet in the present day im examining it for interesting. Its a sturdy e book,. because it ought to narrate to existence in the early/mid- 1890s. Its about a lady,Scout, and her brother, Jem, and what they go by of their city. and there is a courtroom case in the e book which defines human rights. i imagine its a sturdy e book, and recommend it.

I thought it was a boring book but the symbolism and the overall message was good.
