I have had some success with GOOP hand Cleaner. It wont hurt the paint and it does work.
Fine Rubbing compound will do it but you must be careful you don't rub to much as it will take off the paint
I would suggest DuPont 7 Fine Rubbing compound

have the spots eaten through the paint? If not you might try a mild rubbing compound and then waxing.

Hook your self up with a genie autodry roughly 25 bucks, and buy some replacement filters for it too. (This way you dont have to run to the store in the middle of a wash). I use it and always wash in the late evening hope this helps... and dont be cheap, it really does work
