It depends on if your campus is wireless! If so, make sure your DELL PDA has that ability.

It all depends what it is used for. If you are looking for a laptop replacement of sorts, take it to class, take notes, recording class session, bring it home, view it on the main computer, print notes, and use the PDA for other activites, such as contacts, calendar, alarm, watching DVDs, go online, et cetera, I would recommend the Palm LifeDrive.
The Palm LifeDrive is easy to use, has a 4 GB hard drive that offers a lot of space, has WiFi for hotspot Internet use, Bluetooth, a built-in voice recorder, gorgeous large PDA screen, and many power applications to use in class for word, excel, and powerpoint presentations. The cost of the unit is about $399, but you may get it a bit cheaper at retailers, and especially on eBay.
I would also recommend getting the wireless keyboard for easy typing in and out of class. It is a very nice unit, and near a laptop replacement.

For a college student, I'd say the best Public Display of Affection is kissing.
