Use a little oil and a paper towel. Rub in a circular motion. Then wash with soap and water. I use and it works great for me.

There is a product called Goo Gone that works wonders taking labels and glue off of many types of items. It can be found in stores like Wal * Mart and some grocery stores. It is an orange based product, and is relatively safe and easy to use.

If soaking won't take it off or remove all the goo, use a product called "Goo-be-gone". Seriously!

Soak it in water. If that doesn't work, use Goo Gone, or Goof Off.
