Missed period. I took two home pregnancy test and they came back positive. Should I take another to be sure or can stress make you miss your period and have a positive test?

You usually can not get a false positive result, but can get a false negative. In all likely hood you are pregnant. Go to your doctors and have them do a blood test.

I think you should go to the dr and have them do a test. they do blood tests and that will be more accurate. I have never had a test come back positive because of stress. Mine only came back positive when I was pregnant. I guess people could get a false positive, but I am not sure.

In order for the test to give you a positive result, it would have to detect the pregnancy hormone in your urine. Stress can certainly affect your period, even cause you to miss one. My suggestion to you is to go to a clinic or see your doctor. This visit will give you your definite. I wouldn't invest in another home test, if you are that sceptical of its results.
