He deleted some family pic and now i cant find them thanks 4 ur help. They where on the internet

they were on the internet and he didn't keep a backup at home? that's a dangerous strategy. We need more information.. where were they on the internet? were they part of a photo file sharing site? it depends on the photo site then..many places keep backups, some don't . this happened to me on fotki.com once. I accidentally deleted some photos. When I called to see if they had a backup they did not. You shou;ld give them a call or email it can't hurt you have nothing to lose. Get in touch with the ppl who run the server where the photos were kept, they often keep backups too. If you give us more info may someone could help you more.

It depends how long ago it was deleted/uploaded. If it isn't in the recycle bin, I'd try doing a System Restore (provided you have windows XP) back to the point when the pic was uploaded onto the compy.

If they were on the Internet they they are gone. You have no control over the Internet server they were sitting on and usually they empty the trash every day, if not immediately.

If they were on the internet, then you need to identify what site they were on. The recycle bin on your computer will not save photos from the internet.

well, if ur using a Mac then just use spotlight to search it (a very handy feature of the almighty Mac) If not, check ur recycling bin

go to search( on the comp.) and type in pictures I'll give you every pic on your comp. even deleted ones!!!!!!!

Check the trash folder. If he emptied it, you're SOL.

go to the garbage trash..click on it..it should be in there.
