Someone at your bank should be able to help you with this. If not you should contact your local law enforcement agency. As in all scams though, there is probably nothing you can do to recoupe you losses. Always remember! If it sounds to good to be true, It is!!! Sorry, and good luck!

If you're in the US, you would contact the FBI Computer Fraud Dept. but the chances they will be able to do anything are remote. Why would you think something like that bogus lottery was legitimate?

Listen, bud, if it sounds too good to be true, then it almost certainly ISNT true. Just for future safety, if you get emails from a Nigerian bank, asking you to pose as someone's relative in order to split millions of dollars, or some company contacts you out of the blue to "represent" them to their US and other customers, for a fee, of course, these are also SCAMS.

Most times, I can tell they're scams simply from reading the poorly spelled message. If the guy sending the Email claims to be the director of some banking institution but keeps misspelling the word "tranzactions", then it's the delete button immediately.

Take care of your money, fella. I'm sorry you got scammed but there are seniors out there on fixed incomes who get scammed by these predators all the time. It's high time something was done to nail these jackasses.
