Well, Humpty Dumpty was really a metaphor for a king...but keeping in the idea that he was an egg then no one could put him back together again so the baby chicken would never have a chance to hatch.

Even if HD was put together or didn't crack in the first place, there was no rooster to fertilize him or a hen to incubate him so I doubt that he would have hatched, rather he would have rotted...sad really.

If Humpty Dumpty was male he could not have an egg inside of him, he would be a rooster.

in the initiating if the eggs aren't any further fertile they gained't hatch. then you somewhat choose a chicken to sit down on them and if it is not any longer a sitting chicken, it really is wanting to sit down then it gained't stay with the eggs. Or an incubator to do the warming.
