WIthout a doubt George Best is the best Manchester United Player of All time. the renowned "5th Beatle" because of his long hair & looks. his nine years in Manchester United was outstanding 1963-1974, the best winger ever. Died on the 25th November 2005.
and his last words were "Don't Die like me" - without a doubt he was a legend. even Pele - who most of us considered the best of all time, claimed himself the "second best" after George Best.
MAybe also Robert Bobby Charlton - hey who could forget him? he was one of the best Manchester United Midfielders Ever! with 754 apps scoring 247 goals between the Year 1954
-1973
And of course, let's not forget the Joga Bonito host- Eric Cantona - one of the best forward ever for Manchester United in the years of 1992-1997! =)
cheers!

George Best (22 May 1946 – 25 November 2005) is widely acknowledged to have been one of the greatest football players of all time, remembered for his halcyon days with Manchester United F.C.. He played for the Northern Ireland football team, but their failure to reach the final rounds of the World Cup denied him the ultimate global stage.
He played for United as a winger between 1963 and 1974, helping them to win the Football League Championship in 1965 and 1967, and the European Cup in 1968. He was named European Footballer of the Year and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year in 1968. He had a rare combination of pace, blistering acceleration, balance, two-footedness, goalscoring prowess and the ineffable ability to run through entire defences. Indeed, Pelé, the Brazilian who is often said to be the greatest player of all time, called Best "the greatest footballer in the world". The great Argentinian Diego Maradona regarded Best equally highly. Best's brilliance is often summed up in one sentence: Maradona good, Pele better, George Best.

Bryan Robson - Passionate and proud.
Wasn't as gifted as a Best or a Cantona, Didn't score the goals like whiteside, cole or van nistleroy, but when you needed a man to inspire a squad, up popped captain marvel.

Dennis Law, I too liked that backheel he did for City.
It would have been extra special if that backheel would have sent them down, but at that time United had to beat City by about 10 goals to stop up.
Realistically I never saw George Best but from what I've heard he would probably get the nod.

i'm surprised nobody has mentioned dennis law before ruud came along he was our highest goalscorer in europe. the best of the present is without doubt paul scholes on his day he was the best midfielder in england of his generation but of all time i'd have to go with king eric not only was he sheer class, one move away from brilliance at any moment on the pitch and not only did he drop kick a palace fan but who could forget his "the seagulls following the trawler" speech genious

Eric Cantona. He was the final missing piece of a glorious Man Utd. team. He added a certain swagger which engulfed the whole team and made it just great.
