i have a 99 ford taurus i put a new tension pully belt on in nov when i start the car in the morning it makes?

a strange noise and then it quiets down i also put belt dressing on any opinions what this can be all my gauges are ok no signal on them

The Belt needs to be tightened up.I had the same problem....tightened it up and it is fine now

stop buying the cheap belts and go get a goodyear gatorback from autozone.. they don't slip like the cheap belts and will take misalignments better

Sometimes new belts stretch after a coupla days, so try retightening it. Worked for me.
