Fox news is a refreshing alternative to CNN and MSNBC.
Unfortunately they are not nearly as far to the right as most
people would have you believe. One of its most prestigious
pundits, Bill O'Reilly is staunchly in favor of a woman's right
to choose. This will never set right with many right wingers.
Greta, although very popular seems to be afraid to express
any opinion that would alienate her from the right or the left.
Hannity is lovable even by left wingers but could be a lot more
aggressive on key issue. What they need on that channel is
a cadre of people like, Michael Savage, Michael Medved,
Alan Keyes, Laura Ingraham, and Hugh Hewitt, maybe even
David Horowitz. But of course if they had these people on
their channel it would be too much for people on the left to
handle. The G-man(G. Gordon Liddy) would also be very
nice. Maybe ever Keith Butler(Bishop, Detroit area).
David Barton, but oh no, that would be too much to ask, or
would it?

EDIT: Thank-you very much jmminnc, pretty good.

I've said this before, but I'll say it yet again. I love how left-wingers get all worked up over Fox News. God forbid a major news outlet not put your spin on things, huh? But having said that, I think Fox oughta change their slogan from "Fair and Balanced" to "What the Left Doesn't Want You to Know".
Drew: You're confusing news with opinion, which a lot of left-wingers do here. Hannity & Colmes is an opinion show, not a newscast. They cover several major issues of the day, have guests to talk about those issues, and both guys get a crack at them.

So what is it is just there take of the news.
Overview of Neoconservative views
Historically, neoconservatives supported a militant anticommunism, tolerated more social welfare spending than was sometimes acceptable to libertarians and mainstream conservatives, supported civil equality for blacks and other minorities, and sympathized with a non-traditional foreign policy agenda that was less deferential to traditional conceptions of diplomacy and international law and less inclined to compromise principles even if that meant unilateral action. Indeed, domestic policy does not define neoconservatism — it is a movement founded on, and perpetuated by an aggressive approach to foreign policy, free trade, opposition to communism during the Cold War, support for Israel and Taiwan and opposition to Middle Eastern and other states that are perceived to support terrorism.

The libs all hate Fox News - they had the strangle hold on news forever, and they hate it that there is more than one side to the story now. Libs think, believe that their side is the only side, so anyone that gives voice to any other side of any story but theirs, they hate, thus the libs hate Fox News - because Fox does a great job of seeing the news from all perspectives, and letting the viewers decide... Libs really hate that - they want to be spoon fed all the liberal crap - they think that they know best - so nothing more than their version should be aired or discussed.

Propaganda is one thing, lying when they know they are lying, just makes at an entertainment program for the stupid!
Remember the courts in Florida, in a case where an anchor refused to report something that was a bald faced lie, she was terminated. She sued Fox News and the court said it was OK to lie!
It certainly isn't news!

Since most people like to hear actual facts, they search until they find a place that provides them. That is why Fox is the largest kid on the block now. What is people's problems with getting the truth. The left have all their news shows. Leave ours alone. Boy, talk about censoring.

LMAO! You hit it right on. I love how Fox tries to sell itself as "fair and balanced"....fair and balanced my asss. And even when they do have liberal or left-leaning anchors, those anchors are usually relegated to non-political shows (i.e. Greta van Susteren's show only really deals with criminal law and related events). And with shows like Hannity & Colmes, is it just a coincidence that Herr Hannity gets far more airtime than Colmes and can easily be mistaken as the host?

It may lean to the right....but that is one channel. All the rest lean far to the left...so if you consider Fox propaganda, then by default you must also consider MSNBC, CNN and the like to be the same.
