Because the Democrats know how to balance a budget.
Because the Democrats will hunt down Osama Bin Laden first and foremost, not get distracted by two-bit dictators like Saddam Hussein.
Because the Democrats will fully fund first responders.
Because the Democrats will work to strengthen consumer protection laws.
Because the Democrats will make sure that laws like FISA and FOIA are enforced so that the American people will resume being the boss of its elected government, not the other way around.
Because the Democrats will actually enforce antitrust laws.
Because the Democrats will end the practice of no-bid contracts.
Because the Democrats will reinstate the "Pay-Go" rule which will require any new spending or taxcuts to be offset by spending cuts.
Because the Democrats will trim needless corporate subsidies.
Because the Democrats will bring back college loan programs to pre-2000 levels, giving Americans an honest chance at a college degree.
Because the Democrats will focus on savings incentives for working, middle-class folks, not just capital gains cuts for the wealthiest among us.
Because the Democrats will force companies to publicly disclose CEO pay and benefits.
Because the Democrats will work to ensure all children under the age of 3 have access to a minimum level of medical care and nutrition.
Because the Democrats will find ways to help small employers pay for health insurance for their employees.
Because the Democrats will allow prescription drugs to be imported from Canada.
And those are just off the top of my head. ;) I am not an employee or even a member of the Democratic party, but I'm seeing real potential in the direction they are heading.

You should vote Democrat to help the republicans get focused on their jobs!
I voted for Bush twice!
The first time I made a good choice, but now the republican party thinks they can do what they want with out being accountable! Sadly, losing elections is the only language they understand! Voting democrat will get focus back!

Forget parties, vote for the best candidate. It is a choice and more than likely a tough one as all politicians seem to be in it to further Financial means or Political Favors, which will affect Financial means.
There are still a few out there that honestly want to help, they are few, but they are.
Never vote a Party line because then you have given up your vote to another persons agenda. Voting a party line is, I am going to vote for all of the (whatever this person says ,goes).
Folks that express their view and opinions in that manner have no actual say in the matter.
But is way cool that you are, at the least, voting.

First, I applaud you for phrasing your question in such a way that we don't invite individuals who harp on about the negative side of a party. After all, such cynicism without solutions is an impediment to our democratic process.
I think you should vote democratic, barring the viability of a better third party (God knows we need one), because the Democratic Party, as much as it is in disarray today, is far more accepting of plurality and is nibble enough to transform itself to meet the needs of the people.

what with the likes of Kerry and gore, u should think twice about voting for a democrat. Bush is no prize, but just think where we would be with gore ( the self proclaimed inventor of the Internet) running things or Kerry who claims the US military are a bunch of baby killers (ask zarcawi about that)

They're ALL Flim Flam Men!
They make speeches about they must have taxes, and every politician knows what is being done in Alaska. Alaska Pays all their residents with earth rights and doesn’t tax their residents. This makes the politicians liars!
They make speeches to get elected and make promises about what they will do for us. They say nothing about getting every dime of lobby money to do what big biz wants that’s opposite what they promised you they would do. That makes them cheats!
They stole your grandmother’s retirement money from SS. Now you face getting nothing for your SS payments. That makes them thieves!
They tax us, but they know the foreign companies pay no taxes on the goods they sell here. The goods are sold then bought on paper in a foreign port to skate the tax laws. Thus eliminating their profit on paper to cheat the US out of the taxes they owe. This makes them backstabbers!
They take lobby money to put earmarks and pork in every law that passes their desk. Then they do photo ops, a news clips to promote themselves as doing something good for us and America. So they corkscrew us!
They make back room deals and give our tax money to foreigners who build factories with our money. Then they write laws that send our jobs overseas. This makes them dirty dealers!
So lets total all this up. They lie, cheat, steal, backstab, corkscrew, and dirty deal. HELL their Flim Flam Men! Just like in the George C. Scott movie “ The Flim Flam Man”!
They are called the “ Honorable” Senator or Representative. Hell Flim Flam Men have NO honor what so ever! They’re crooks, criminals for God’s sake!
The BBC has film of ALL of them going in and out of Abramoff’s restaurant. That’s THE place in DC to get loaded with lobby money. The BBC has been running this story, and trying to get the US media to run it too. The US media refuses to run the story.
It’s time to take America back! Get registered! VOTE! Vote for anyone that’s not a Democrat or a Republican. They have ALL the power and ALL the control. They must bear ALL the responsibility for their gross mismanagement and abysmally poor judgment! It’s time to put THEM in the unemployment line!

You should vote for candidates who openly support closing the border with Mexico followed by deportation of illegal aliens. That would be a vote for America, hopefully America will win this war against illegal aliens... but, remember, our politicians have been of little help in this matter, they are dragging their heels and their butts. They are against America.

For no reason, unless you want people who can kill babies but not fish, can invite terrorists over to the white house (like clinton with arafrat) without a huge public outcry, if you want all religious statements and articles, which are what this country is founded on, destroyed, if you want biased control of the corrupt media, if you want out democracy (which is really a republic) twisted into a mix of fascism and nazism, if you want the SACTITY of marriage MOCKED and DESTROYED, if you want us to lose in every military action we get involved in, if you want our economy to fail.......................................vote Democrap...
