why do some wrestlers grab the rope when they are pining down sombody is that a bad or good thing?

it's bad for their opponent but good for them, they are trying to get leverage by using the ropes to help pin their opponent

They grab the ropes to get extra weigh so that the other wrestler can not kick out. It is cheating.

Its a bad thing and they're cheating because if they grab the ropes its harder for the guy who is being pinned to kick out. This only works when the refree doesn't see it. And in most cases he doesn't.

It's a bad thing according to wrestling rules, where you can't grab hold of the rope because you have more power to inflict damage on your opponent. That's why "heels" do it often, to help them win easily.

It's a bad thing. When you're wrestling, you're not supposed to hold the ropes. The wrestlers do it because they are scripted to "cheat". It draws more heat on them if they do that.

Hey well it's basically what everyones saying its a Heel thing but it's also to get leverage and stop the wrestler from trying to break the pin :)

It doesnt matter. its when they are getting pinned when it matters becausse if you are getting pinned and you grab the rope then the other wrestler has to let you go.

It is bad to grab the ropes when you are pinin someone. They do it so they can win no matter what and that is cheating if they win by that way.

Its a good thing if they are really hurt and can't kik out the grad the rope so the our one tuse not win

It's cheating it helps them push down on a pin notice sometimes they do it the ref stops. Mostly they aren't caught, but if they are caught I doesn't lead to a disqualification, but the ref stops the pin.

that is a BAD thing unless thats youre favorite wrestler cause thats cheating it makes it so they can break the pin
