Lisa Ling (Chinese: 凌志慧; pinyin: Líng Zhìhùi) (born August 30, 1973 in Sacramento, California) is a Chinese American journalist, best known for her role as a co-host of ABC's The View, and host of National Geographic Ultimate Explorer.

She started in television at 16, when she was chosen as one of the four hosts of Scratch, a nationally-syndicated teen magazine show based in Sacramento. At 18, she joined Channel One News as one of their youngest reporters and anchors. Among her roles was war correspondent, including assignments in Iraq and Afghanistan. She attended the University of Southern California. During her time there, she had to miss her Russian Studies class to cover the 1992 Russian Referendum; her teacher understood.

Ling joined The View in 1999, representing the "young voice" on the panel. She drew fire for her comments after the September 11, 2001 attacks, in which she stated that Americans should think about why other people would want to attack.

In April 2001, she competed in and completed the Boston Marathon.

Ling left The View in 2002 to host National Geographic Ultimate Explorer on the National Geographic Channel.

In recent years, Oprah Winfrey has featured many of Ling's foreign country stories. Ling's title is "special contributor" .

In February of 2005, Ling became engaged to Philip Levine. Later, she split with him citing their time apart because of busy schedules

Let's see, Blacks are surrounded by white everyday so in your eyes whites aren't obsessed over race but in fact they are. Whites who've committed terrible acts in history are even remembered yet Blacks are not. History books? Filled with white people and fuking lies. The whole American school system is setup to teach white supremacy. You don't see it because in a peckawoods life all you are taught is that peckawoods are great when in fact your kind is trash. Who's committed the most atrocities to all peoples of earth? White people. What race of men commit the most heinous sexual crimes in the states and around the world? White men. You might even try and argue that Blacks break the made up laws in America yet that is not a fact it is just an opinion. The fact is white people break more laws than Blacks and Mexicans combined yet Blacks and Mexicans are arrested more than whites. Tim Wise wrote an article about how white kids are more likely to have done and be in possession of drugs yet Blacks kids and Mexican kids are arrested more for it. Why? Because a white cop doesn't want to destroy a white kids life over experimenting like a normal child would do. A cop once tried to arrest me when I was younger for some completely stupid shyt. Well my Mum was showed and he had to release me to her. The cop tells my Mum that she should let me go to jail to experience the real world. What on earth makes a jail stay the real world? Some people have NEVER been to jail or even had a problem with a cop yet because I was black jail is factored into my life as just bering another day for a Black man. So in contrast when you think about how many whites think like that White people are obsessed with race more than anyone on the planet. Before whites started "exploring" the world no one had problems with each other the way the world does today. Whites have truly screwed up in their time as being on a world stage. No other race has destroyed the earth the way whites have and continue to do.
