I can't help you there; the Egyptian Consulate would know how much. I went to Egypt when I was in school in London and the Egyptian Consulate in London required to keep my passport for 24 hours. Talk about feeling vulnerable.

Hope you're going someplace fun! Don't forget to get your vaccinations and your malaria pills, and DON"T drink from taps or street vendors. And bring along some immodium capsules just in case.

Egyptian pounds are staggering. different currencies will be common contained in the vacationer motels (Euros frequently) yet in operating cities and the nation-state you truly do favor to carry Egyptian pounds. also undergo in options in case you insist on making use of money, you'll land up paying a better value for small products, as Egyptian overseas money has smaller denominations, allowing you to provide the precise volume. It truly would not carry many reward to apply it in daily transactions. also, pay attention of "no change" circumstances, although overseas money you're making use of ***continuously carry small denomination notes*** consisting of quite some 25pt, 50pt, LE1, LE5 and LE10. There are positive for procuring bus and prepare tickets, procuring taxis and procuring highway foodstuff and drink. in case you purely have an LE50 (or $10) be conscious, that taxi journey purely value you LE50. I continuously emphasise this, by way of the undeniable fact that is between the most important topics, and many first time travellers arrive with purely large notes and it motives genuine issues.

Just back from there. £15 at the airport. You can pay in Egyptiam or English or American. Make sure you get one when you arrive though. If you decide at a later date whilst there that you need one it's almost impossible. You only need one if you are leaving your resort area to travel.
