ISRAEL CANNOT ELIMINATE HEZBOLLAH.

first of all, lets examine what Hezbollah is...
HEBOLLAH which means "Party of God", is a Lebanese Islamist Shiite militia and political party led by its Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah.
Hezbollah supports the destruction of the state of Israel and co-operates with other militant Islamic organizations such as Hamas in order to promote this goal.
It has an army of serveral thousand as well as a terrorist wing willing to engage civilian targets with impunity.

Hezbollah is an actual autonomous government which does everything that a government does, from collecting the garbage to running hospitals and repairing schools.

Hezbollah receives financial and political assistance, as well as weapons and training, from Iran and Syria. Theese two countries are oil rich, antisemitic, antiAmerican and unwilling to give into economic sanctions or US pressure. Iran is such a problem for America alone that America can't even force Iran to stop trying to build NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

I do not see Israel being capable of destroying Hezbollahwithout resorting to Nuclear weapons - simply because the entire Arab Muslim world is backing them. In fact, if Israel could destroy Hezbollah, you wouldn't see them attempting to bargain their way out of the war.

Furthermore, Israel has growing problems within their own government, community and their place in world opinion is at its lowest. America isn't even helping them right now.

Tho answer that question, the answer is NO.

This whole situation saddens me, however I think terrorists come in all forms and none of the superpowers or any country which has at sometime throughout history invaded another can be totally innocent, and place themselves in a position of highness.
Who are we just because we are bigger, stronger and richer decide what is best for another country. Hezbollah is stcking up for their beliefs and fighting a country who with its history should know better than to invade another country and kill innocent people. I cannot understand how the Isralies can carry on the way they do and think they have the right and expect that no one will stand up to them. Maybe this time they may have met their match and can only see things getting worse. I think if you know your fight is just and right then you will win out because you are fighting for something that is inside your heart, because of this I dont think Israel can eliminate Hezbollah.

I would just like to say I have been trying very hard to understand this conflict and be impartial but I think the Palestinians have a stronger argument.

No America shouldnt have got involved in the Gulf war and positioned their soldiers in Saudi Arabia. America shouldnt have backed israel blindly against the Palestinians America shouldnt have invaded Iraq for the second time in fact helping Osama get rid of Saddam as they hated each other and Osama wanted Saddams downfall. During this time dissafected muslims around the world started to gather behind Osama
You cant defeat a person who isnt afraid to die
Americans dont want to die they want to live
These terrorists want to die to make whatever point it is they 'believe they are making
You cant eliminate those who have nothing to live for
Hezbollah is a political party who do much for Lebanon
Israel should have stuckto their agreements with the Palestinians then half of this crap would have stopped
If Israel has the balls then let them bomb syria and Iran and sort it out that way
There certainly will be peace bcs they will all nuke each other and we can all go back to our lives

Beckett unhappy at Prestwick claims
Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett is planning to make a formal protest to the United States over reports that a Scottish airport was used as a staging post for the supply of missiles from America to Israel.Mrs Beckett said she had already told US officials "we are not happy" about claims two chartered Airbus A310 cargo planes filled with GBU28 laser-guided bombs landed at Prestwick for refuelling and crew rest after flying across the Atlantic at the weekend.Asked if it was OK for a UK airport to be used for such a supply of weapons, Mrs Beckett told Channel 4 News: "No I am not happy about it.
"Not least because it appears that in so far as there are procedures for handling of that kind of cargo - hazardous cargoes irrespective of what they are - it does appear that they were not followed."I have already let the United States know that this is an issue that appears to be seriously at fault ... that we will be making a formal protest if it appears that that is what has happened."We are still looking into the facts but I have already notified the United States that we are not happy about it."
The airport has also been the subject of claims it had been used by the CIA for "rendition flights" to carry terrorist suspects to countries where torture is used.

Only if the US goes after Iran.

If we don't, Hezbollah will eventually put a nuke on one of the rockets they shoot into Israel.....then there will be all out war in the middle east. This is, of course, what the muslims want. They think that after everyone is dead that Islam will win (they are completely insane).

Hezbollah has entwined itself among the civilian population of Lebanon. Israel doesn't care about the civilian toll of Lebanon, in the pursuit of its self-centered agenda, This is demonstrated by Israel's knowing slaughter of the UN peacekeepers. The rest of the world is not willing to accept such devastating collateral damage.

You see... Hezbollah are guerilla fighters... just like the Americans in the Revolutionary War. They're outnumbered, but they're powers are unpredictable, who know's what kinds of weapons they have. I hate to say it, but i think Hezbollah will eliminate the Israeli Army :(

Sewer rats are extremely difficult to eradicate completely and Hezbollah is a genetic variation of one. It may be the Party of God but the god is a Satanic monster.

How? Hezbollah is a hidden enemy. It will really take an alliance to do that. Not just a faux coalition like we had for Iraq.
