California department of transportation,(CalTrans)
A typical day on highway construction goes as follows:

5-6am set up traffic cones.
6-6:30am stand with hands in pockets till it's your turn for 5 minutes.
6:30-7am break time
7-9am try to get shovel to stand on it's own while waiting for your 5 minute work interval.
9-9:30am lunch time.
9:30-10am easin' back into observer mode.
10-12pm watching someone who really wants to work take 4 out of your 6, 5 minute shifts.
12-12:30pm break time.
12:30-1pm sit in truck with motor running and air conditioner on,admiring all the work that didn't get done.
1-2pm pick up cones.
2pm miller time!

This is a typical 9 hour shift,so you also have earned 1 hour of overtime.Total time spent "WORKING" around 2 hours.

The worst part is this is pretty close to the truth!

man people are so judgemental (ROSETTA STONED), there's no way she's an Austinite.

Whole Foods Market is a great place to work, great benefits, great people working and shoppin there.

I was a valet car parker at The Heart Hospital of Austin for a while, and it was pretty easy, not to mention rewarding, helping out older people with heart problems.

If it was me, I'd try to find an easy job working for a local college, maybe Austin Community College would be a perfect match for any slacker job prospect, and hello cute girls everywhere.
