Bush has declared that global warming is a myth, But the American Academy of science has said that global warming is fact. So those of you who believe our elusterus president are you saying that Bush is smarter than the American Academy of science? What reason would the American Academy of science have to lie to us? They have nothing to gain from it. And wouldn’t you rather take measures to slow or even stop global warming? Because its not going to be us who suffer, it will be our children and grandchildren, so even if you don’t think global warming is a reality, wouldn’t you like to error on the side of caution so your grandchildren wont pay the price in the future?

.I think that the only reason bush is opposed to it is money...He and his rich fat cat business CEO's oppose it because it would cost them some of their precious money to install scrubbers on there factories and not to mention the money they would loose on cars that don’t need oil to function.

Bush is dumber than a pile of rocks. The reason he says global warming is a myth is because big companies are paying him to allow them to continute to pollute our world.

To comment on what your point actually is: this is a common method of the repubican party to discredit facts or figures that give their end goals opposition. And the sad fact of the matter is that a large portion of our society falls for it... they grab hold of the fact that the president said this or he said that and run with it no matter how much scientific data or actual witnesses you put in their face.
I have even given ppl links to Frontline series that show high ranking ex-members of the Bush administration and Generals stating the Bush knew before his famous state of the union speech that WMDs did not exist... meaning he knowingly lied to congress. And guess what one of them repsonded to me once, "you have to do better than that." Btw, Frontline practically every year wins the truth in journalism award.
Denial is the reason these republicans grab hold of things such as what you mentioned and won't let go. They can't handle the truth because in their brains this is a competition. They would prefer to see the USA ran straight into WW3, the econcomy become nothing but service jobs and destroy the environment for future generations than to admit the 'liberal' democrats were right about anything.
We do not see this as a competition. It is us democrats that are fighting for the betterment of ALL society, even for those poor lost fools; but, I'm afraid human ignorance and arrogance might be our undoing.

Bush has a 91 IQ, is alcohol pickle-brained and he is corporate driven, not people or planet. He would be willing to do anything for a buck even if it meant destroying the Earth! And so would most Republicans!

Bush isn't even smarter than a kindergarten class. The truth is he smoked and drank his way through college and the only reason he passed is because his daddy was president. He has tons to gain if it's provin a myth because most of his stocks are in oil companies.
